Ladybug
With my grandparents on my mind after my last post, I thumbed through my photographs and came across one of a ladybug that I snapped while at the Frances E. Walter Dam the Fall before last. All that majestic scenery surrounding me and there I was, concentrating on a tiny bug crawling on a rock. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely snapped tons of pics of the surroundings, but something small, like a lady bug is what I want more people to notice. The little things. The minuscule bit of life that at the time, in the moment doesn't seem to mean very much but years later, you may realize that the little things ARE what make everything special and memorable. Right away, I thought of my grandmother. That itty bitty bug that I just needed to photograph has me now reminiscing about my beloved Nana. See... the little things. She adored ladybugs. And so with that image in hand, I grabbed a fitting stamp and created a card with her in mind: "There's Always a Reason to Smile" You couldn't be around her and not smile. She filled every room she entered with so much love. She was the most amazing woman I have ever known. I can only hope that one of these little ladybug cards will fill another room with smiles and love... Click here to buy
